Easter Battle, 1 map, 5 turns, 4 Axis formations vs. 4 Commonwealth - Fought over Easter 1941 in Rommel's initial attempt to take Tobruk with token forces he had on hand. He had just arrived at Tobruk's doorstep but not quick enough before the Australians who had just retreated into it to establish themselves. It was a brisk and bloody fight and Rommel's failure set the stage for the siege that would ultimately lead to why Operation Crusader was planned.

Battle for the Salient, 1 map, 5 turns, 5 Axis formations vs. 4 Commonwealth - The Axis, now invested around Tobruk, launches a set attack on the southwest perimeter at a feature called Ras el Medauuar at the end of April into May 1941. The result of the battle caused the Axis to grab a small salient foothold on the Tobruk defenses that they would not relinquish until the conclusion of Operation Crusader.

Operation Brevity, 1 map, 2 turns, 3 Axis formations vs. 3 Commonwealth - By the operation's name, this was meant to be a brief operation using the handful of available British forces by the Libyan/Egyptian border in mid-May. It wasn't meant to outright relieve Tobruk but was to gain a foothold to prepare for further larger actions. The result was a British defeat but had gained the British the important Halfaya Pass.

Operation Skorpion, 1 map, 2 turns, 5 Axis formations vs. 3 Commonwealth - The Axis' operation two weeks after Brevity with limited objectives to retake Halfaya Pass and displace the Commonwealth forces still along the border. The operation was successful and the Germans would look to dig in along this frontier line.

Operation Battleaxe, 1 map, 3 turns, 4 Axis formations vs. 5 Commonwealth - Similar to Operation Brevity but larger in scope conducted on 15 June 1941. The plan was reduced to not include an outright relief of Tobruk but rather "let's see what happens then decide what happens next". The British were defeated in this action as well.

Operation Battleaxe: Mini-Crusader, 3 maps, 10 turns, 7 Axis formations vs. 9 Commonwealth - The one hypothetical scenario in the game where it tickles the fancy for the original Battleaxe plan for the full relief of Tobruk. The plan was similar to the one actually implemented in Operation Crusader with a break in from a desert relief force and also a break out from the garrison itself. As the scenario is hypothetical, I will make no bones about the scenario being balanced or even remotely possible for the Commonwealth to relieve Tobruk, but the intrigue into the predecessor to the Crusader plan was too good not to try. The 10 turn limit was arbitrarily chosen. I figure by 10 turns the players would know if it would be possible or not.

Operation Crusader (Campaign), 3 maps, 21 turns, 14 Axis formations vs 13 Commonwealth - The main event. Operation Crusader in its full. The campaign game starts on 19 Nov which was the second day of the operation but 18 Nov was the Commonwealth setting off from their start positions across the open desert. 19 Nov opens the stage for the opening blows against the Axis. What follows will be multi-pronged attacks towards Tobruk from the desert, the garrison breaking out to meet them, and a sweep along the coast to take Bardia and other areas along the frontier. This is all the while Rommel is ping ponging between the Tobruk threat and the frontier threat while most of the Italians are trying to hold in the Tobruk breakout. The scenario ends on 9 Dec which was around when Rommel abandons any possibility of winning and retreats westward with his remaining forces.

Two Map Crusader, 2 maps, 21 turns, 11 Axis formations vs. 10 Commonwealth - Specifically designed for the game-space challenged, this is the full Crusader battle reduced to the two Western maps. The Eastern map containing Halfaya Pass and Bardia that contained Rommel's Dash to the Wire, is excluded but does include the possibility of Rommel's Panzer Divisions being pulled from play to deal with the off map threat then returning later when dealing with the link up threat around Sidi Rezegh.

Operation Crusader: Clash of Armor, 3 maps, 19 turns, 14 Axis formations vs 13 Commonwealth - Campaign game that starts on 21 Nov (turn 3) with the situation developed around Sidi Rezegh where the British Armour trying to lure Rommel into an armor battle.

Totensonntag, 2 maps, 3 turns, 9 Axis formations vs. 8 Commonwealth - The "Sunday of the Dead" battle around Sidi Rezegh that just covers the armor fight from the above scenario. The swirling battle ends with the British Armor in tatters and forced to retreat while Rommel gets wind of the threat along the frontier where he dashes off thinking that the British armor has been totally defeated.

Operation Crusader: Dash to the Wire, 3 maps, 15 turns, 14 Axis formations vs 13 Commonwealth - Campaign game that starts on 25 November with Rommel conducting his dash to the Frontier. His Panzer Divisions are poised to roll up behind the Commonwealth infantry forces.

Operation Crusader: Victory by Logistics, 3 maps, 11 turns, 14 Axis formations vs 12 Commonwealth - End game campaign scenario starting on 29 Nov 1941 with Rommel's detachment returning from the Frontier to take on the new threat at Tobruk and Sidi Rezegh where the New Zealand Division and the Tobruk garrison are almost in contact with each other. The Axis are running out of steam, men, and tanks, but Rommel being Rommel has another go at it.
